We have been working at Mearns View Care Home to produce a fantastic sample food menu and activities programme for our future residents.
Our sample menu has been officially released for prospective residents and their loved ones to see a snippet of the incredible food options that will be offered at Mearns View Care Home in Newton Mearns. Our Head Chef is itching to get into the kitchen and prepare delicious, nutritious meals for our residents. As you can see by our sample menu, we will be offering plenty of choices for different food preferences and dietary requirements.
Residents are guaranteed to be spoilt for choice, feel full after every mealtime, and most importantly be satisfied.
Below you will see some examples of regular activities and events that will be going on at the home. From getting creative with arts & crafts workshops, to enjoying live entertainment with a tipple of choice, and relaxing with your feet up in the cinema room, there are so many options for different interests and lifestyles.
The activities team at Mearns View will also be incorporating seasonal activities, including crafting for special occasions such as Easter and Halloween, gardening activities during the summer and trips to the local garden centre during the Christmas season.

We endeavour to care for an individual's needs as well as provide opportunities that allow them to grow in confidence, make new friendships, develop their skills and maintain their independence.
Mearns View Care Home will be providing the highest quality of Residential Care, Dementia Care, Nursing Care and Respite Care for older people 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Each of our residents will have access to our all-inclusive facilities including luxury en-suite bedrooms, fine dining, expansive gardens and a cinema room.
