Luxury En-suite Bedrooms

You can ensure that our new home has elegantly designed bedrooms all equipped with wet rooms, contemporary furnishings, and modern technology. We encourage our residents to make their rooms their own by bringing small pieces of furniture and personal items in order to maximise comfort and truly create a space they can call home. Some bedrooms on the ground floor have direct access to the gardens and patio area, ideal for those who love to be close to nature. For couples wishing to reside at Mearns View, there will be interconnecting rooms available.

Dining

Our skilled team of in-house chefs are able to produce the finest quality of food, including handcrafted nutritional meals that ensure all tastes and dietary restrictions are considered. Menus at our care home are seasonal and varied, ensuring our residents can enjoy a range of cuisines. Dining can take place in our luxury dining rooms, or in the comfort of your own room. Residents can also dine with loved ones in our private dining room.

Varied Lifestyle Programme

At Mearns View Care Home, we have an amazing staff of dedicated Lifestyle Coordinators in place that is ready to organise lots of exciting activities for our residents. Residents are presented with a weekly programme of activities appropriate for all ages and abilities, ranging from social events such as parties to sing-a-longs and board games.

Private Gardens

Residents can enjoy our beautiful, vast private garden. There is plenty of comfortable outdoor seating where residents can read a book and enjoy sitting in an open spot where they can relax, or even get out and about for some exercise. Residents who are green-fingered have the opportunity to participate in gardening, amongst many other outdoor activities. The garden has a wealth of wildlife for residents to admire as the garden backs onto well-established trees.

Hair & Nail Salon

Our qualified hairdressers visit weekly to deliver a unique and customisable experience to each and every one of our residents. Those of our residents who would like to indulge in hair and beauty services can choose to take an afternoon to themselves for a spot of pampering. Whether residents would like a cut, blow dry or manicure, our salon team is happy to provide them with a high-quality service.

Garden Café

On-site is a Garden Café with comfortable seating and dining facilities designed to provide a communal setting for residents and family members. Available to order is an array of hot drinks and freshly baked goods to choose from. The café has direct access to the expansive gardens through large patio doors, bringing an element of the outdoors, in. Residents can sit back with a cup of coffee and enjoy the wonderful sights of the landscaped garden.

Cinema Room

Many people enjoy watching movies on the big screen. Our cinema is a quiet and cosy spot where residents can relax and watch their favourite film in peace. This is a great place for residents to congregate during the evenings, and with a diverse range of films to choose from, there’s sure to be something for everyone.
