We always encourage our residents to continue doing their hobbies and passions even if it is just watching a film or participating in a baking session. Mearns View Care Home has a team of Activity Coordinators that create a diverse programme that changes each week and is designed to be accessible for everyone, especially those living with memory loss.

Stimulating & Accessible Activities

At our care home in Newton Mearns, we try and create an environment that gives our residents a positive and memorable experience every single day. Each week, our Activities Coordinators provide the home with opportunities that allow residents to participate in a variety of engaging activities, either individually or in a group setting. Mearns View values the residents’ ability to make decisions and manage their lives as much as possible so that they can live as independently as possible.
